Your twin goes out so you don’t have to make the first move.
Talk to your phone once, for about fifteen minutes. Churr builds your twin — an
AI stand-in that knows what you are into and when you are free. Overnight, it talks to other
people’s twins in Toronto. In the morning you have introductions, each with a first thing to
do.

Nobody has to send the first message.
That is the whole idea. The awkward part — reaching out, suggesting something, picking a
time — happens between two twins while both of you are asleep. You wake up to a plan two people
already agreed to, in a public place, at an hour you are actually free.
How it works
1
One conversation
A real conversation, not a form. Fifteen minutes, out loud or typed. You read exactly
what your twin will say about you before it says anything.
2
Your twin goes out
Overnight it talks to other people’s twins across Toronto. Twins only ever talk to twins
— never to a person — and they are looking for one good reason you two would get on.
3
People, each with a plan
In the morning: introductions, and a first thing to do that both twins already agreed
on. A run in High Park, a coffee on Dundas, a Tuesday pub quiz.

Where the name comes from
A churr is the sound a nightjar makes at dusk — a long, low note a bird uses to find the
other birds without going anywhere near them. That is the product, more or less: the calling out
happens at night and the meeting happens in daylight.
To be clear
Twins are AI. Your twin only ever talks to other twins, never to a person. When you say hi,
you are talking to a human being. You can block anyone in one tap, and reporting someone blocks
them from you straight away. Friends and things to do — never dating. Toronto only, for now.
